Missing: Blanca Estella Govea-Ibarra
It was only a couple of weeks shy of Thanksgiving when brand new mom Blanca went missing from Aurora Colorado. On November 16th, 2016 sometime around 4:00-4:30 pm, Blanca left her home on foot with plans to go buy a new cell phone. The local store she was planning to go to was only about 10 minutes away. When Blanca did not return home, her family went to that store and spoke to the owner, but they were told Blanca never made it there. Her husband reported her missing to the Aurora Police Department.
Blanca’s newborn baby was only a month old when she vanished. Today, over six and a half years later, she is still missing and her baby is growing up without their mom. There is very little information and conversation surrounding Blanca’s case. Please consider sharing her story, it won’t take much of your time.
Blanca was last seen in Aurora wearing sweats, with a green shirt, and black sneakers. She is 5’6” or 5’7” and weighed approximately 140-150 pounds at the time of her disappearance. Blanca has brown eyes, brown hair, and her race/ethnicity is hispanic/latino. Blanca has a distinguishing feature on her nose, a mole, that can be seen in all of her pictures. Her birthday is 09/11/1980, she was 36 years old when she went missing, and is 42 today.
